Real. I like to keep it.

Honest. What I aim for.

Raw. Is my way of telling your story ...

It’s all about letting people be themselves; capturing the natural way events unfold. It’s about picking the right frame and playing with conventions, but still not interferring with the essence of the moment. Creating an enhanced, yet accurate, snapshot of that point in time.

I’ve been exposed to various types of photography – whether it’d be extreme sports, weddings or family portraits – all of which have influenced my style and approach to the way I shoot my subjects. This together with my background in publishing and design enables me to shoot photos with a keen eye for detail and produce a finished product that is both professional and contemporary.

Thankful. To be entrusted with your memories.

[ Dave & Laura / June 2010 / Wedding / Phuket ]
I had the awesome privilege of traveling with Laura and Dave over to Phuket recently to shoot their wedding and join in the pre wedding holidaying. Having known Laura for a long time, I also knew a lot of her family which made my time away just awesome. A highlight would have to be our boat trip to Phang Nga and just getting to spend time with the wedding guests. I had a great time and am so thankful that I was exposed to such a great experience. More to come...

[ Engagement Album / July 2010 / Design / Melbourne ]
I had the pleasure of working on this job for a client recently. They had shot a heap of photos at a friends engagement and wanted me to put together an album for them. I based the album off the wedding albums I produce, however tweaked it a little bit. The end product was stitched with a blue thread to match in with the dress, there were two covers with the outer cover gate folding around the second cover (the second cover was also blue to tie in with the dress). The book was then 30 leafs of paper with photos on it, and 30 leafs of a thinner stock with a pattern alternating with the pages of photos. I then finished the books with a black cord and two little loops held together with part of a match stick.

Beautiful.
[ Good Times in Malaysia / June 2010 / Holiday / Malaysia ]
Ok so I paid 10rm to use a toilet after getting confused and not realizing the lady only wanted 30 cents or something. Oops. The showers are crazy, you wet the whole bathroom, motorcyclists wear their jackets backwards, breakfast can almost be as heavy as dinner and durian wouldn't be my first choice of fruit. Late nights were normal, and milo roti is yum. The 5 hours we spent on langkawi island was awesome, swam in the beautiful sea water and a lake. Watched the world cup and loved stirring up the girls after Netherlands beat Brazil. Went through KL's smart tunnel. Put together some ikea stools. Ate. Helped Cook. Got burnt by the wok. Saw people flying kites. Malaysia is awesome.

[ Joe & Naomi / May 2010 / Wedding / Geelong ]
Joe and Naomi's wedding was great to shoot, but boy was it a massive day. I left home around 7:30 and got home at 2am. We had an amazing location for the shots between the ceremony and reception, which was Naomi's old high school, and a mate of mine, Ralph was also there doing video which was awesome. Thumbs up for the food too.
