It’s all about letting people be themselves; capturing the natural way events unfold. It’s about picking the right frame and playing with conventions, but still not interferring with the essence of the moment. Creating an enhanced, yet accurate, snapshot of that point in time.
I’ve been exposed to various types of photography – whether it’d be extreme sports, weddings or family portraits – all of which have influenced my style and approach to the way I shoot my subjects. This together with my background in publishing and design enables me to shoot photos with a keen eye for detail and produce a finished product that is both professional and contemporary.

Reuben and Kate had a beautiful backyard wedding at Reuben's parents home in Melbourne. We popped out for some quick couple shots after the ceremony, however most of the day was spent hanging out in the backyard. As I floated amongst the guests snapping away it was great seeing some familiar faces from a wedding I shot early in 2011 where I initially met Reuben and Kate. Recalling in particular a few people who made for some interesting times on the dance floor last wedding and didn't fail to disappoint this time round.

Austin and Jilly had a beautiful wedding up in Queensland at the Mudgeeraba show-grounds. Jilly did a great job of organising such a beautiful look and feel to the wedding. I loved the table settings and flowers hung from glass bottles in the tree under which they got married. The weather was pretty awesome too!
